Wright State University Creative Arts Center Construction Management Services Dayton, Ohio
The Challenges
The project involved a 187,800 sq. ft. Creative Arts Center Building and a 14,350 sq. ft. TV Center Building. H.R. Gray, an Anser Advisory Company, was selected to provide a constructability review and schedule analysis of the proposed project. The project impacted all the departments currently housed in the current building including Theater, Dance, Motion Picture, Music, and Art. The H.R. Gray team provided owner’s representative services which included reviewing the drawings and specifications at the design stage to assist the University in improving the clarity, consistency, and constructability of the project. They were a member of the collaborative WSU CAC team that consisted of the design team, the CMAR contractor and University staff that participated in discussions to the approach needed to coordinate the complex multi-phased construction in an occupied building. Precise scheduling was required to ensure that critical project milestones were met to ensure project success.
