The Challenges
Ventura County Medical Center (VCMC) is the first California public hospital where a Design-Build contract was based solely on project and program performance criteria. A design competition was used to determine the “Best/Added Value” selection of the Design Build Team. The VCMC project incremental OSHPD permitting process has saved significant time on the project’s schedule. This process allows construction to begin before the completion of the Design Documents. Anser has a full-time team on site, ensuring the right expertise is available throughput all project stages.
