The Challenges
The addition of two 3,000 ton, electric motor driven chillers to the Central Plant. The project scope includes site preparation, site development, building addition that matches the existing building in construction and appearance, removal of the existing ice harvester, removal and reinstallation of existing Chiller No. 6 and its pumps and associated electrical switchgear, addition of four cooling tower cells, interconnection of necessary equipment with existing equipment (piping, controls, electrical, etc.), modification of existing roadway, and installation of a fence around the Central Plant perimeter.
