Boston Medical Center Various Projects Owners Project Management Boston, MA
The Challenges
Anser Advisory, formerly Pinck & Co., served as owner’s project manager (OPM) for the Boston Medical Center (BMC), providing on-site management of several projects on this 2.3 million square foot campus. The project included the relocation of the Women and Infants Center (WIC), which being an inpatient unit had to maintain operations while moving; a major review of Boston Medical Center’s medical equipment database at the Menino Inpatient Pavilion, which included an identification, review and assessment of all equipment for replacement or validation for continued life; a reconfiguration of the BMC Outpatient Clinic Endoscope Cabinets, which required upgrading to include HEPA-filtration cabinetry; and the relocation of the Morgue Service for Decedent Holding, which involved the construction of a new private room with refrigerated units equipped with alarm and monitoring systems.
